VMA 2023: pela primeira vez, apenas mulheres foram indicadas como Artista do Ano

Nesta terça (8), foram revelados os indicados ao VMA 2023, o Video Music Awards, prêmio organizado pela MTV. Uma das principais categorias é a de Artista do Ano, que não leva necessariamente clipes musicais em conta, mas impacto musical e midiático ao longo do ano. Este ano, pela primeira vez desde que a premiação foi criada, em 1984, a categoria conta apenas com mulheres indicadas:

• Beyoncé 
• Doja Cat 
• Karol G 
• Nicki Minaj 
• Shakira 
• Taylor Swift

Curiosamente, esta é a única categoria em que Beyoncé está indicada, já que ela não lançou clipes no último ano. A premiação está marcada para o dia 12 de setembro.
